- St. Lawrence University, NY – B.S. in Biochemistry, Minor in African Studies
- Six months in Kenya conducting research in ecology and anthropology, focused on reducing conflict between sustainable farming communities and wildlife.
- Developed emergency medical services in Nairobi through community initiatives.
- Mayo Clinic, MN – Undergraduate Research Fellowship
- Studied hematology and immunology, focusing on T-cell development and neural development.
- Continued as a full-time researcher for two years after graduation.
