All patients will receive a thorough diagnostic evaluation as part of their intake. I will explain the diagnosis and treatment options. Common initial diagnoses include:
Major Depression
Generalized Anxiety
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Bipolar I and II disorder
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Insomnia
Supportive Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Interpersonal Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) : CBTi is a unique form of psychotherapy specifically used to treat and improve insomnia. It currently has the best evidence for long-term treatment of insomnia and can be used on it's own, or with medication options. The Treatment course typically lasts 8-10 sessions in total.
I offer standard and treatment resistant medication management for all above listed diagnoses. This includes scheduled medications like benzodiazepines and stimulant medications.
However, I choose to prescribe these medications sparingly and have strict guidelines and expectations for scheduled medications, as these medications have a high potential for risk and abuse.
I do not currently offer ketamine, or experimental therapies like psilocybin, or MDMA.
