I completed my undergraduate education at St. Lawrence University in New York, where I majored in Biochemistry and minored in African Studies.
Following my undergraduate training, I worked the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota performing medical research before attending medical school at Rush University in Chicago, IL.
I completed my residency training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. I was selected to be Chief Resident my final year of training. In this role, I supervised and assisted with management of our residency training program.
I currently hold an adjunct faculty position at the University of Wisconsin, where I supervise psychiatry residents, and occasionally medical students.
I split my time between private practice and working as an outpatient psychiatrist for the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Professionally, I have worked in multiple settings and have experience in emergency psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, and consult-liaison psychiatry. I have worked with multiple unique patient populations including LGBTQ+, and military veterans.
I am board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
